Home for the Holidays | Navigating Family Dynamics in Light of the Gospel

  • Redemption City Church 3301 Eastern Ave Baltimore United States (map)

With the holiday and travel season just around the corner, we invite you to join us for a gospel-centered workshop, "Home for the Holidays," hosted by RCC's counseling ministry! This event is designed to equip you to navigate the intricate dynamics of relationships with family and friends in light of the gospel.

Led by various RCC leaders, we will dive into topics like evangelism, discouragement, the power of prayer, and the hope of advent. We want to equip you with the skills to display and declare the gospel no matter your situation. Our goal is for you to walk away with the tools and passion to head home this holiday season and invite your family members or friends into the Advent season with hope in Jesus Christ alone!

While this event is geared more towards equipping the local church, we genuinely welcome anyone interested in the gospel and would love to discuss all you will learn. Check out the registration details below. We're excited to have you join us! Also, those who register early can sign up to receive an advent devotional!

Registration Options:

  • Standard Registration + Advent Devotional: $15 (RSVP deadline: October 31)

  • Standard Registration Only: $5 (RSVP deadline: November 8)

Please note that we will not have childcare for this event.

Event Agenda

  • 8:45am | Check-in, light snacks, and coffee

FAQ

I am not going "home for the holidays" this year. Is this training relevant to me?

Yes, we would still encourage you to come! Our training tools on evangelism and gospel-centered hope can be used year-round. We can apply these tools to any situation with our family and friends.

All of my family are believers in the gospel. Will I still learn something helpful at this training?

Yes, this training is for family AND friends. You can use what you learn here with anyone who doesn't know the Lord. Additionally, even those of us who know the gospel need reminders.
